A truly exceptional cabin for a truly exceptional getaway: That’s Queen of Gatlinburg in a nutshell. This 5-bedroom, 4,000-square-foot chalet is packed with luxuries you probably never imagined in a vacation rental, from an 80” projection-screen TV with Bose surround sound to antique stained-glass windows to a fully outfitted puppet theater (yes, you read that right!).
Let’s start with the location of this custom-built cabin. Surrounded by woodland, it’s just a short walk to the trout-stocked river that runs through Gatlinburg. Spend hours each day swimming, splashing, or fishing—we can provide you with trout stamp and license information. But while you’ll feel blissfully removed from the hubbub of everyday life, Queen of Gatlinburg is also within walking distance of the restaurants, shops, and entertainment of downtown Gatlinburg. How reassuring to know you can enjoy an extra drink at dinner without worrying about driving afterward!
The 3-story cabin itself offers more than enough to keep everyone in your group entertained without leaving the premises. The upstairs great room is a combination game room/home theater. As if the slate pool table weren’t impressive enough, there’s also foosball and skeeball. The home theater has the previously mentioned 80” projection-screen TV, plus plenty of amply cushioned chairs in which you can kick back and munch popcorn in comfort and style while you watch. You may never want to visit a standard movie theater again!
If you’re traveling with kids (or kids at heart!), they’ll be thrilled by the custom puppet theater. Rainy days won’t be a problem on this vacation—you may actually look forward to one!
Especially after a day of skiing or snowboarding, you’ll relish relaxing by one of the 2 gas fireplaces, in the upstairs great room or the main-floor living room. Both rooms, like the rest of Queen of Gatlinburg, are decorated with antiques and comfortable contemporary furnishings. Feel free to stretch out on one of the lush sofas as you read, surf the Web, or take a nap.
Then again, once you see the bedrooms, you’ll want to savor your siestas there. Each of the 5 bedrooms is a master suite, complete with a king-size bed, a full bathroom, a flat-panel TV, and direct access to one of the many porches. This makes Queen of Gatlinburg a marvelous choice for multiple couples or families traveling together. Should you have additional guests, one of the sofas in the upstairs great room converts to a bed for 2, enabling the cabin to sleep up to 12 people.
One of the bedrooms is on the top floor, and it opens onto the top porch, which houses the hot tub. Soaking among the steamy, massaging jets of water is even more pampering when you can look out at sun-dappled trees, feel the caress of the mountain breeze, and listen to thrushes and swallows sing!
A 2nd bedroom is on the main floor, and the remaining 3 bedrooms are downstairs. The bathrooms, by the way, are as luxe as you’d expect, with slate tiles, oversize custom showers, and antique vanities.
Although you can walk to myriad restaurants from the cabin, the fully equipped—and beautiful!—kitchen might inspire you to try those gourmet recipes you never have time to make at home. The dining table seats 10 with ease, and there’s room for several more at the breakfast bar.
All this, and we haven’t even mentioned luxuries such as the 10’ stained-glass window from an 18th-century church that graces the stairwell, or the custom hardwood floors with inlaid medallions, or the gas grill where you can cook your day’s catch, or the porch rockers where you can savor nature’s beauty in all its splendor…
We could go on, but you really need to experience Queen of Gatlinburg for yourself. Luckily you can: All you have to do is book your stay today!
