Twin Creeks is an antique, architectural rarity. Hand built in 1937 with hand peeled post and beam framing using two by fours and logs laid tongue and groove, it resided initially in the national park until it was eventually moved to its present location in Webb Creek. It has a place in area history belonging at one time to a member of the Ogles, one of Gatlinburg's oldest families. This all wood house offers a unique rustic atmosphere that is reminiscent of bygone pioneer days in the Smokies. The lodge features a large stone fireplace in its massive great room, antique stained glass windows, a log staircase and a beautiful property with two creeks, a bridge, a picnic pavilion with built in benches and a swing, a large deck and additional outdoor seating areas. With tasteful interior furnishings updated in March 2009, modern comforts such as the 42" HDTV above the fireplace make this historic property even more appealing. Twin Creeks is a perfect family getaway and is sure to help make your vacation a memorable one.
