If you and your friends are more outdoorsy than most, consider taking a day or two to enjoy the national park. There are plenty of trails you can hike, like Clingmans Dome or Andrews Bald, which takes you slightly over the border into North Carolina. The hikes can be a bit rough and uphill the whole way, but the scenery along the way and the views when you get there are totally worth the effort! You can also enjoy the natural waterways by dipping your feet in our beautiful mountain streams, or by visiting the Sinks, a local swimming hole.
