The information listed below is to help coordinate arrival, departure and some special aspects of your vacation so everyone may fully enjoy their trip to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains.
Check-in begins at 3:00pm and is only allowed for guests with a signed rental agreement. You will be sent an invitation to download our App which will give you directions to the cabin. On the day of arrival, you will be given door (and if applicable alarm) codes to get in unless your property has keys. If your property has keys, then you must check-in at the JMH Office, 1662 East Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738. We only have 5 hours to clean between departure and arrival time and we never want to compromise cleaning quality; therefore it is possible your check-in may be delayed during busy time periods. If you arrive early, you may have to wait to check-in if your property is not ready; however if your property is cleaned and inspected we will check you in
It is the booking guest’s responsibility to coordinate all parties arriving separately to direct them to their rental home. Please provide each member of your group with a map (available upon request) to their home and the unit phone number. Remember, it is the booking guest’s responsibility to Check-In at the office to pick up the keys and no one is to go to the house prior to Check-In at the office.
Yes! When you arrive you will receive a check-in package with vouchers for many area restaurants and attractions. You must have your voucher in-hand in order to redeem the offer. Some offers require reservations or have restrictions. Click here for more information.
Yes, more than 85 JMH homes are pet approved with a fee. Homes that are not pet approved do not allow pets of any kind. Be sure to let the reservationist know you want to bring your pet so that they will be sure to offer you a pet-friendly property.
If you plan on arriving after 5:30pm, please contact our office ((800) 473-3163) 24-48 hours prior to arrival for instructions on how to obtain your check-in package.
You will get detailed directions and map to your cabin in your check-in package.
Transporting firewood to the Smokies can kill zillions of trees because wood borers and other insects lay eggs on or live in dead wood. These pests are not native to the Smokies and they spread quickly killing the trees in their paths.
Our rental homes are to be used for the QUIET enjoyment of our guests and NOT to be used for parties, large gatherings or receptions.
